Zoom’s AI Push: Can Vizrt Partnership Revive Growth? | Stock Analysis

by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor

Vizrt launched two new artificial intelligence-powered solutions, InteractifAI and CaptivAIte, designed to integrate with Zoom Meetings and Zoom Rooms, the companies announced earlier this month. The tools aim to enhance corporate communications with broadcast-quality graphics and augmented reality features.

InteractifAI and CaptivAIte were developed in close partnership with Zoom, reflecting a deepening collaboration between the two companies, according to Vizrt. The solutions are intended to elevate experiences for corporate events such as product launches, webinars, training sessions, and executive presentations, driving increased viewer engagement. Vizrt has supported over 3,500 companies globally with similar solutions.

The launch of InteractifAI and CaptivAIte aligns with Zoom’s broader strategy to evolve into an “AI-first collaboration platform,” moving beyond its core video conferencing capabilities. The integrations leverage features like Custom AV Zoom Rooms, allowing partners to extend Zoom’s functionality into more sophisticated, branded experiences. This expansion is seen as crucial for sustaining growth as the core video meetings market matures.

InteractifAI provides users with instant access to broadcast-quality visuals and branded graphics within Zoom meetings. CaptivAIte, integrates augmented reality graphics directly into Zoom Rooms, replacing traditional slide decks with interactive 3D visuals. Both solutions are available through Vizrt’s ISV Exchange Program.

Analysts at Simply Wall St. Note that the success of Zoom’s transition hinges on demonstrating that AI and workflow-focused products can reaccelerate revenue growth. While the Vizrt integrations support this direction, they do not immediately alter the near-term outlook, where competition and relatively flat demand for online communication tools remain significant challenges. Zoom Communications’ forecasts project $5.3 billion in revenue and $1.2 billion in earnings by 2028.

Some analysts are optimistic that partnerships like the one with Vizrt could fuel a stronger platform story for Zoom, potentially driving revenues to US$5.5 billion and earnings near US$1.8 billion by 2028. However, more cautious perspectives emphasize the potential for intensifying competition and subdued core demand to limit Zoom’s upside potential.

Vizrt’s move into the enterprise market extends its established expertise in broadcast graphics, with over 25 years of experience delivering solutions for major networks. The company’s solutions aim to transform physical spaces into production studios, unifying in-room speakers and remote participants.
