Chinese Actor Alan Yu Dies After Fall From Building in beijing
Beijing, China – Chinese actor and singer Alan Yu (Yu Menglong) has died after falling from a building in Beijing, according to reports surfacing on September 11, 2024.He was 36 years old.
Details surrounding Yu’s death remain limited, but initial reports from Chinese entertainment blogger Detective Xiaoyan on Weibo indicate teh incident occurred in the early hours of September 10th. The blogger claims Yu was with friends and reportedly went to his bedroom around 2 a.m., locking the door. When his friends departed several hours later, Yu was missing. His body was discovered downstairs around 6 a.m. by a passerby who afterward alerted the police.
News of Yu’s death quickly spread online, prompting responses from those close to the actor. A friend,speaking to red Star News,expressed shock at the rumors,stating,”I called him,but his phone was turned off. I sent him a WeChat message, but he didn’t reply. He hasn’t updated his Moments in the past few days.”
Yu was best known for his roles in popular television dramas Go Princess Go and Eternal Love.Born on June 15, 1988, in urumqi, Xinjiang, China, he began his acting career in 2018. His filmography includes Xin bai niang zi chuan qi (2019) and Love game in Eastern Fantasy (2024), according to IMDb.
yu received the Breakthrough Actor of the Year award at the 2019 Golden Bud Network Film and Television Festival for his work in Xin bai niang zi chuan qi. He was also recognized with the Jury Award for Newcomer of the Year at the 2018 Television Series of China Quality Ceremony.
