One customer in Zličín was observed enlisting the help of a taller individual to reach melons at the bottom of a display box. Another took matters into their own hands, using a knife to cut open the side of the box for easier access.

Supermarkets are beginning to respond to customer feedback, with some offering quartered or halved melons, albeit at a premium price.However, the demand for more readily available and affordable smaller portions remains strong.
