WWE’s SmackDown will temporarily move from USA Network to Syfy Channel for two weeks, beginning tonight, February 13th, due to the network’s coverage of the Winter Olympics. The shift impacts the broadcasts of February 13th and February 20th, with the program scheduled to return to USA Network on February 27th.
The move marks a return for SmackDown to Syfy, which previously aired the program from 2010 to 2016. Viewers wishing to watch the broadcasts on Syfy will require a cable package that includes the channel. For those without cable, streaming service Sling offers access to Syfy through its Orange & Blue plan.
Sling is currently offering a promotional rate for its Orange & Blue plan, starting at $34.99 per month, reduced from its regular price of $69.99. The plan provides access to over 50 channels, including ESPN, Bravo, TNT, USA, and CNN, alongside on-demand content. Sling allows streaming on up to three devices simultaneously, accessible via phone, tablet, computer, or smart TV app.
Tonight’s SmackDown, broadcast live from Dallas, features a WWE Women’s Championship match between Jade Cargill and Jordynne Grace. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles will also be contested, and qualifying matches will continue for the upcoming Elimination Chamber event, scheduled for February 28th in Chicago. The broadcast is also expected to address the fallout from the recent Royal Rumble event.
The February 20th SmackDown will originate live from Amerant Bank Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will include appearances by Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, among other WWE superstars.
