Raw Fallout: Rhea Ripley Vows Retribution as Kabuki Warriors Turn on IYO SKY
Orlando, FL – The fallout from last week’s shocking events continued to unfold on Monday Night Raw, as Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY found themselves at the center of a fractured relationship with the Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane. The September 29th episode saw escalating tensions culminate in a brutal attack on Ripley, and a disturbing betrayal of SKY.
Ripley opened the show addressing the Kabuki Warriors’ assault on SKY,declaring thier actions “crossed a line.” She issued a direct challenge to Asuka and Sane, demanding a confrontation in the ring to settle the score.
SKY,visibly conflicted,acknowledged Ripley’s assessment of the situation,but struggled to sever ties with her former mentors. “Despite everything,” she stated, “they are still family. I still feel loyalty.”
The kabuki Warriors responded via video message, with Asuka appealing to SKY’s past. She reminded SKY of the guidance and support she provided, expressing disappointment in her alliance with Ripley. “I’m willing to forgive you, IYO, if you just apologize,” Asuka offered, with Kairi Sane echoing the sentiment, urging SKY to return to the fold. However, asuka made it unequivocally clear: reconciliation with Ripley was off the table.
Ripley swiftly rejected Asuka’s plea, delivering a scathing rebuke and imploring SKY to trust her judgment and distance herself from the Kabuki warriors. A hesitant SKY, overwhelmed by the emotional turmoil, retreated from the ring, stating she needed time to consider her options.
That hesitation proved costly. The Kabuki Warriors promptly launched a sneak attack on Ripley, overwhelming her before SKY could react. SKY rushed back to the ring, attempting to intervene and pull Asuka off Ripley, but was met with a shocking act of aggression. Kairi Sane attempted to reason with SKY, only for Asuka to retaliate by spraying the blinding green mist directly into SKY’s eyes.
Outnumbered and vulnerable,Ripley fought valiantly,but the Kabuki Warriors systematically targeted her shoulder,unleashing a barrage of spinning backhands,Asuka’s signature submission hold,and a devastating top-rope elbow drop from Kairi Sane.
The attack leaves Ripley injured and SKY reeling from betrayal, setting the stage for a potentially explosive confrontation in the weeks to come.
