The incidents occurred in the area of East Highland Avenue and Sterling Avenue, according to initial reports from FOX 11 Los Angeles.
Authorities responded to numerous 911 calls beginning around 10:00 AM PDT, detailing attacks by animals described as coyotes. Victims sustained injuries ranging from minor scratches and bites to more serious wounds requiring hospitalization. San Bernardino Fire department personnel provided on-scene medical assistance and transported injured individuals to arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
