Munich, Germany – A Munich woman’s death initially treated as a potential homicide is now understood to be the result of a drug overdose, followed by an attempt to conceal her body in Forstenrieder Park, authorities announced today. The 50-year-old male acquaintance with whom she allegedly consumed cocaine is currently under investigation.
The case, which began with a walker discovering the woman’s body near the ”Buchendorfer Geäumt” forest path on November 22nd at approximately 2:50 p.m., prompted a large-scale public search and investigation by the Munich criminal police. While initial concerns centered on foul play, investigators now believe the woman died from a cocaine overdose at the man’s apartment. He then allegedly transported her body to the park, fearing repercussions. The surprising turn of events underscores the dangers of drug use and the potential for escalating criminal behavior driven by panic.
According to police, the woman and the 50-year-old Munich resident had been together in his apartment when she apparently overdosed on cocaine. Faced with the consequences of the situation, the man allegedly decided to move the deceased to Forstenrieder Park.
