Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – At the weekend there is a lot of sunshine in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Despite some clouds, it will remain dry in the coming days, said the German Weather Service (DWD) based in Offenbach.
On Friday, maximum temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees are possible during the day. It was the warmest on the Upper and Middle Rhine. In the night to Saturday the temperatures will probably drop to nine to four degrees. In the high elevations in the Eifel, it could get a little colder at around two degrees. There is also a slight frost near the ground possible.
On Saturday it will remain warm and sunny at a maximum of 22 degrees. In the night to Sunday it will probably be the coldest again in the Eifel. The values there could drop to zero degrees and there could be slight frost in some areas, the DWD said on Thursday. The trend towards friendly and warm weather continues on Sunday. Despite some cumulus clouds in the afternoon, it stayed dry at a maximum of 23 degrees.
