Volkswagen electric coupling ID.5 (+ VIDEO) is approaching Latvia

It’s time for Volkswagen’s first global electric car ID.4 to become sporty. Equipped with the same technology, the ID.5 instead of a minivan looks like the favorite coupe crossover formula, which replicates the Audi Q4 e tron Sportback and the upcoming Škoda Enyaq Coupe.

The power of the rear-wheel drive electric vehicle will be 174 or 204 hp, while the fast version ID.5 GTX will receive one electric motor on each axle and a total power of almost 300 hp. Acceleration to 100 km / h – 6.3 seconds. The ID.5 with a 77 kWh battery is expected to cover up to 520 km, while the all-wheel drive model ID.5 GTX will be able to drive up to 480 km. With an external length of 4.6 meters and a wheelbase of 2.77 meters, the ID.5 offers as much space as a traditional SUV. ID 5 is 2 cm lower and just as long as ID 4. The luggage capacity, on the other hand, has hardly changed from 549 to 1,561 liters.

Volkswagen ID.5 and ID.5 GTX will be available in Latvia from the beginning of 2022. Classic drive versions will be around 2,500 euros more expensive than ID.4, the difference between all-wheel drive models will be even smaller – around 1,500 euros. Watch more in the TV Auto News story.
