Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented the exposure of a 17-year-old girl to gang assault and harassment by dozens of young men, in an area belonging to the Sulaymaniyah Governorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The video showed the girl called obscene, during a gathering to watch an unauthorized motorcycle show in a public square.
Police managed to arrest 16 of the participants in the attack on the girl, and some of the assailants were in possession of machetes, knives and daggers, which are expected to be investigated in preparation for the trial.
