US Supreme Court: Trump can continue to release employees

The suspension was decided by the District Judge from San Francisco Susan Illston, according to which Trump exceeded its authority, because the head of state can fundamentally restructure the federal authorities if it receives authorization from Congress. Similarly, on May 30, the Court of Appeal saw the Court in this West American city.

However, the Supreme Court found that the Constitution did not contain provisions that would limit the presidential authority concerning the occupation of the Federal authorities, and also that the President did not need a special permission from congress to exercise his powers under the second article of the Constitution.

Representatives of the trade unions who turned to the courts claimed that the steps of the Office for the Efficiency of the State Administration (DOGE) will lead to a loss of work for hundreds of thousands of federal employees, disturbances of authorities throughout the federal government and drastic reduction of agencies computed by Congress.

Many US authorities, including ministries of finance, trade, abroad, healthcare or agriculture, plan to reduce the number of employees.
