US military shot down another unidentified object

The US military shot down another aircraft over Lake Huron on Sunday.

Details: An American official said that the shooting down of an unidentified object occurred “at the direction” of President Joe Biden, the newspaper writes.

This operation marked the third day in a row that an unidentified object was shot down over North American airspace.

Michigan House of Representatives Democrat Elissa Slotkin said on Sunday that the operation to shoot down the object over Lake Huron was carried out by pilots of the US Air Force and the National Guard.

“Great work for everyone who carried out this mission both in the air and at headquarters. We are all interested in what exactly this object was and its purpose,” she wrote on Twitter.

Another member of the House of Representatives, Rep. Jack Bergman of Michigan, also confirmed the operation on Sunday, tweeting: “The US military has decommissioned another ‘site’ over Lake Huron.”

What came before: On Sunday in China, local authorities announced the discovery of an unidentified flying object over the waters near the coastal city of Rizhao in the east of the country.
