US Dax Unveils Matchday Lineup for Upcoming Fixture
US Dax will travel to face their upcoming opponents without central midfielders Leatigaga and Sovau, as manager Vincent Etcheto reshuffles his squad amid ongoing injury and disciplinary concerns.
Shoulder Tendonitis Sidelines Leatigaga
Leatigaga remains sidelined due to a lingering shoulder tendonitis that has impacted his performance in the scrum.
“Since three or four games, he was complaining about having a sore shoulder in the warm-up,” Etcheto explained regarding the Samoan prop. “And it is true that on his last performance in the scrum, he was collapsing, he was not well.”
Front-Row Promotion and Captain’s Return
Up front, Etcheto has named Ferreira and Dréan as starting props following positive substitute appearances in recent fixtures, with Louis Barrère completing the front row. Captain Jean-Baptiste Barrère returns to the starting XV, wearing the number 6 jersey but operating at number eight.
Backline Adjustments at Maurice-Boyau
In the backline, the starting half-backs return to the pitch at Maurice-Boyau. Young Jekope Sovau steps into the center position to cover for Jope Naseara, who serves a suspension following an orange card received against Montauban. Oltmann also returns to the lineup following a two-week absence.
Unchanged Bench Composition
The bench remains unchanged with a 5-3 split, featuring New Zealand back-rower Ben Sa’u positioned to enter the match as a lock during the fixture.
