Luciano Slagveer may have played his last game for FC Emmen on Sunday. Hungarian Puskás Akadémia has reported for the 26-year-old attacker.
RTV Drenthe reports that. Slagveer played 84 minutes for Emmen on Sunday, which was 1-0 too strong for Heracles Almelo. It was possible the last trick of the attacker in the shirt of the Drenthe club: Puskás Akadémia hopes to take over Slagveer immediately.
FC Emmen chairman Ronald Lubbers confirms that the Hungarian club has signed up for Slagveer, but refuses to respond substantively. “The case is still ongoing”, Lubbers says.
Puskás Akadémia is the current number four in Hungary with 25 points from 16 duels. Leader Ferencvaros has 11 points more. One Dutchman is already under contract at the club: Yoell van Nieff, who came over from Heracles Almelo last summer. Thomas Meissner (former Willem II and ADO The Hague) also plays there.
Update: FC Emmen counts on Slagveer to have played its last match for the club. RTV Drenthe reports that. The attacker is in conversation with the Hungarian Puskás Akademia. Slagveer was missing on the training on Monday and may come out with a definitive answer on Tuesday.
