UAE Leaders Congratulate Estonian President & PM on Independence Day

Abu Dhabi, UAE – February 24, 2026 – President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates has sent a message of congratulations to Alar Karis, President of Estonia, on the occasion of Estonia’s Independence Day. The gesture underscores the UAE’s commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations with European nations.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, also extended greetings to President Karis, according to the state news agency WAM.

Further messages were dispatched to Kaja Kallas, the Prime Minister of Estonia, from both Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, recognizing the leadership of Prime Minister Kallas in the country’s governance.

The exchange of diplomatic courtesies comes as Estonia marks another year of independence, a milestone celebrated annually on February 24th. The UAE’s acknowledgement of this occasion reflects a broader pattern of engagement with international partners, particularly within the European Union.
