Typhoon Hua Gaza Forecast: Rainfall Risks in Taiwan Next Week

Typhoon Hua gaza to ‍Bring Heavy Rain to ​Taiwan Next Week

Taipei – meteorologist Wu Derong forecasts that Typhoon⁣ Hua Gaza will impact ‌Taiwan beginning the evening of September 21st, bringing rainfall‍ to Greater Taipei and ‍the eastern​ half of the island. While no cold air ​mass is expected, temperatures in⁣ the​ north and east will ‍drop slightly due to the precipitation.

Wu Derong stated that water vapor decreased slightly ‌on September 21st, ⁢with sunny and ‌hot​ conditions⁣ prevailing, and localized ⁣afternoon ⁤showers or thunderstorms in mountainous areas.

from ⁣September 23rd to 24th, as Hua Gaza traverses the bashi Strait ​and enters the South China⁢ Sea, Wu Derong cautions against meaningful rainfall ⁢in the eastern half and southern Taiwan. Other regions will experience occasional showers.Southern Taiwan and coastal areas should prepare⁣ for⁢ strong winds. By September 25th, the typhoon will​ move further away, resulting in clear and hot weather in the western half, with localized afternoon showers or thunderstorms,‍ and continued showers in the‍ east.
