According to legal expert Jonathan Bakst, if the environmental Protection Agency (EPA) determines that its 2009 endangerment finding is no longer valid, it would prevent the implementation of future regulations on greenhouse gases. Bakst further suggests that existing rules based on this 2009 finding could be easily rescinded.
