Trump Organization Launches Trump Mobile, Challenging Telecom Giants
In a bold move, the Trump Organization is entering the mobile phone market, setting the stage for a potential clash with major telecom providers. The new venture, called Trump Mobile, plans to offer a unique service and a signature smartphone, shaking up an already crowded industry.
Mobile Plan Unveiled
Trump Mobile will directly contend with major U.S. networks such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. The company’s “The 47 Plan” is priced at $47.45 monthly. This flat rate includes unlimited calls, text messages, and data, and there are no complex contracts required.
Donald Trump Jr. announced the news during a presentation in New York.
The “Patriotic” Smartphone
Alongside its mobile service, Trump Mobile will offer a smartphone. The “T1 Phone 8002” will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone, which will run Android 15, also includes a fingerprint reader and is expected to launch later this year, possibly in September. The device will cost $499.
A Patriotic Touch
The smartphone design will feature an American flag on the back and the slogan “Make America Great Again” on the display, catering to those with patriotic sentiments. The flat rate’s name, “The 47 Plan,” refers to Donald Trump being the 47th U.S. President.
Trump Mobile representatives also stated customer service centers will be based in the United States.
