Trump Furious: Epstein Files Trigger White House Crisis

Justice Department Official Resigns Amid Epstein File Controversy; Trump Denies Knowledge of Files

A high-ranking official within the U.S. Department of Justice has resigned, citing concerns over the handling of files related to Jeffrey Epstein. The official, identified as Bondzhino, expressed disillusionment on social media, vowing to expose what he termed the “truth” amidst growing criticism of the department’s management of Epstein’s documents. “We can’t manage the Republic this way. I will never be the same after I learned what I learned,” Bondzhino stated.

A source within the Justice Department indicated to the daily Mail that Bondzhino’s resignation was contingent on Prosecutor General Pam Bondi not stepping down. However,Todd Blanche, former President Trump’s lawyer and now second-in-command at the Justice Department, has refuted claims of internal disputes between his department and the FBI regarding the memorandum’s preparation and release.”The claim to anyone that there was some direct link between the FBI and the leadership of the Ministry of justice on the preparation and publication of this memorandum is obviously incorrect,” Blanche stated.

The fallout from the memorandum continues, with the Wall Street Journal reporting that bondi informed Trump in May that his name appeared in Epstein’s files. Trump, though, has denied receiving such information. “No, I have never been informed. No,” Trump told reporters while in scotland. Reports suggest Bondi “repeatedly” informed the president of his name’s inclusion in the files.

The Justice Department has stated that Trump was informed of the findings as part of a “routine briefing.” Bondi also maintains that the administration should retain the files due to their content, which includes images of child sexual abuse.Blanche reiterated that the files contained no information necessitating further examination or charges.

“As part of our routine briefing, we have informed the president of the findings,” the department told the Wall Street Journal. Blanche further characterized the reports as a continuation of “fake news invented by Democrats and Liberal media,” drawing a parallel to the “Russiagate” scandal.

Despite these assertions, questions surrounding Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, continue to persist.
