Traffic Accident on B199: Injuries, Vehicle Damage, Road Closure

A traffic accident resulting in injuries occurred on July 13, 2025, around 4:40 PM on the B199 between Breest and Iven. The driver of a Jeep, traveling from the direction of Iven, veered left off the roadway for reasons yet to be resolute and collided with a roadside tree. The vehicle then spun and came to a stop on the shoulder. The 57-year-old driver and his 68-year-old passenger, both residents of Thuringia, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Hanse Klinikum Anklam. The estimated property damage amounts to approximately 21,000 EUR. The car was rendered inoperable and required towing. The B199 was temporarily closed in both directions during the accident investigation.
