Title: Women’s Soccer Loses to Mary Washington – Next Game vs. Haverford

FREDERICKSBURG, VA – The Salisbury University women’s soccer team suffered a⁢ 3-0 defeat‌ to the University‍ of ‌Mary Washington ⁤Eagles​ on⁣ Wednesday afternoon.

Despite a strong showing in goal from goalkeeper Riley Kinzeler, who recorded eight saves, the Sea Gulls were unable to contain⁤ the Eagles’ attack. Mary Washington scored three ​goals in the​ first half and maintained the lead throughout the remainder of the contest. Kinzeler made a save ⁣early in the game, but the​ Eagles responded with‌ three ⁢goals ⁢before halftime. She continued her strong performance in‍ the second half, making five additional stops in a scoreless frame.

The loss drops salisbury’s record to‍ [record not provided in text]. The ⁣Sea Gulls will ‍look to ​rebound on Tuesday, October 3, when they travel to Haverford, Pennsylvania, to‌ face Haverford ⁤College. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Walton Field.
