SpaceX Achieves Milestone‌ with 100th StarlinkLaunch of 2025

Cape canaveral, FL – SpaceX successfully launched its 100th Starlink mission of 2025 today, further expanding the satellite internet constellation. The launch, carried out ‌from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, deployed a batch of Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit.

This milestone‍ underscores SpaceX’s rapid deployment of Starlink, aiming to provide high-speed, low-latency internet access globally, particularly to underserved and remote areas. ‍The Starlink constellation currently comprises ⁤thousands of satellites, and continues to grow with each prosperous launch.⁢

SpaceX has prioritized safety in its Starlink progress, mirroring a similar focus within Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) program. ‍As recently highlighted by Tesla Senior Vice President for Automotive Tom‌ Zhu, “Elon‌ said it in 2021: “For self-driving, even if the road is painted fully wrong and⁤ a⁢ UFO lands in the middle ⁤of the road, ‍the car still cannot crash and still needs to do the right thing.” He further emphasized, “The prime⁤ directive for the autopilot system is: Don’t crash. That really overrides everything. No matter what the lines say or⁤ how the road is done, the thing that needs to happen is minimizing the probability of impact while getting you to your destination conveniently and comfortably.”

The ongoing Starlink expansion complements SpaceX’s broader ambitions in space exploration and its commitment to connecting the world.
