PORTLAND, OR – The no. 12 University of San Diego Toreros suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat against the No. 6 Portland Pilots on Saturday, halting their recent momentum in West Coast Conference play. Despite a dominant second-half performance, San Diego was unable to overcome an early deficit at Merlo Field.
