Jakarta – Comedian Narji Cagur is strategically investing in land as a long-term inheritance for his three sons, prioritizing their future financial security amid rising education costs.
Narji views land not merely as an asset, but as a steadily appreciating legacy for his children. Recognizing the uncertainties of the future, he’s proactively building a portfolio of properties intended to be distributed among his sons.”We don’t know their future, we don’t know the fate of our people. That’s why I’ve prepared, so coming in, number one has to come here, number two here, number three here. There has to be a plan like that,right,” Narji stated on the FYP Trans 7 studio program on Friday,November 14,2025.
His wife, Widiyanti, supports this approach, emphasizing the stability adn growth potential of land and gold investments. “Yes, the value of land is increasing every year, so why not? Land, gold, that’s all,” she saeid.
Currently, the couple is moderating land purchases to focus on funding their children’s upcoming college expenses. “It’s just that for now, it seems like we’re investing so that sooner or later the kids will want to go to college, like that. So for land, we’re slowing down first, even though we want to do that, but we’re slowing down,” Widiyanti explained.
Narji feels a obligation to continue a family tradition of providing for future generations.”I have to continue. Because my grandfather died, I’m sorry, my grandfather died, he left a lot, and his grandson got it. Can’t I be like my grandfather?” he said.
The land holdings vary in size, ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 square meters across different locations, according to Widiyanti.
