The affectionate display came ahead of the release of Stranger Things Part One on Netflix, November 26.
The pair’s friendly interaction, captured in a video shared by Netflix on Instagram, suggests a strong rapport despite reports of behind-the-scenes tension during the show’s production. Brown stars as Eleven, a character with psychic abilities who escaped Hawkins National Laboratory in the show’s first season, and Harbour portrays Jim Hopper, who later becomes her adoptive father.
the fifth and final season of Stranger Things is set in the fall of 1987, following the aftermath of the Rifts’ opening and the characters’ pursuit to eliminate Vecna. The storyline also involves a government quarantine of Hawkins and a renewed hunt for Eleven, forcing her into hiding. Volume 1, consisting of four episodes, premiered November 26, with Volume 2 (three episodes) scheduled for Christmas and the final episodes debuting on New Year’s Eve.
