Miles Teller Dominated Saturday Night Live’s November 1st Episode with Versatile Performances
New York, NY – Miles Teller showcased his comedic range during his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live‘s November 1st episode, appearing in a variety of sketches that highlighted his ability to navigate both absurd and character-driven humor.
Teller first appeared alongside Heidi Gardner and Chloe Troast in the sketch “What did I Do Last Night?” playing a Halloween partygoer struggling to recall the previous evening’s events. The premise centered around a game show format where contestants attempted to piece together fragmented memories for prizes.
He then featured in an NHL public service proclamation parody, where he played a Nashville Predators player stumbling over the wording of a script about volunteering at a children’s hospital.
Teller also played a role in the “Chaotic Newsroom” sketch, depicting the behind-the-scenes disarray of a newly renovated news set. He portrayed an economist alongside Ego Nwodim’s Daphne Dodd, attempting to deliver a jobs report amidst the crew’s struggles with the new layout.
The actor further demonstrated his versatility in a parody of true crime docuseries, “Missing Wives,” playing a husband bewildered by his wife’s unexplained disappearances during mundane activities.
During “Weekend Update,” Teller appeared as recently pardoned former US Congressman George santos, delivering a recipe for prison toilet rice pudding and continuing to perpetuate falsehoods, a portrayal of the controversial figure previously played by Bowen Yang.
Teller took on the role of a police detective in “Gar-Girl,” a sketch centered around a serial killer and a reporter pitching a Gone Girl-inspired novel featuring gargoyles.
