Winston-Salem police have charged two men after a firearm discharged during a struggle, injuring a juvenile. Jemir Montray Price and Joshua Carson Westmoreland were taken into custody following the incident at a residence on Churchland Road.

According to police reports, the juvenile was struck when a firearm “negligently discharged” as Price and Westmoreland fought over it.
following a search warrant execution at the Churchland Road home, both Price and Westmoreland were arrested. They face felony charges for discharging a firearm from within an enclosure, and also misdemeanor charges for discharging a firearm within city limits.
