Hospice to Host Festive Bazaar Following Viral Tree-Planting Challenge
Bensberg,Germany – November 8,2025 - GFO Hospiz vinzenz Pallotti will host a Christmas bazaar on Saturday,November 29th,following a recent participation in the popular “Tree Planting Challenge” initiated by the Grenzlos choir on Instagram. The event, beginning at 3 p.m.,promises an afternoon of community,conversation,and grilled fare.
The hospice team quickly accepted the challenge, selecting a Pear quince “Ronda” tree to plant by the hospice pond. The “Tree Planting Challenge,” a community-driven trend gaining traction on Instagram and Facebook in 2025, encourages participants to plant a tree within a specified timeframe – typically seven days, though regionally varying from 72 hours to two weeks - and document their efforts with photos or reels using hashtags like #TreePlantingChallenge. Participants then nominate others to continue the chain.
While the tree planting season is concluding, the Hospiz Vinzenz Pallotti is extending the spirit of connection with its Christmas bazaar. Responding to the choir’s nomination, the hospice’s grill representative proactively increased sausage orders in anticipation of increased attendance. All are welcome to join the event, offering an possibility to browse, chat, and celebrate the season.
