TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama gymnastics team announced its 2026 competition schedule tuesday, featuring five home meets within Coleman Coliseum and six road contests. The schedule presents a challenging lineup,as all 11 regular-season opponents competed in postseason play in 2025,with four reaching the NCAA Championships.
The Crimson Tide will begin the season on the road, facing Clemson on January 9 in Clemson, South Carolina. SEC competition will follow on January 16 with a meet against Florida in Gainesville. Alabama will then return home to host Missouri on January 23, kicking off the home schedule with “Big Al’s BAMA-LY Birthday Bash.”
February will see the Tide travel to Norman, Oklahoma, for a dual meet against the reigning national champion Sooners on February 6. Back-to-back road meets against Auburn (February 20) and LSU (February 27) precede a final road contest at Illinois on March 8. the home schedule continues February 13 with the annual “Power of Pink” meet against Arkansas.
Alabama will host Oregon State on January 30 – marking the first meeting between the programs as the 2025 Tuscaloosa Regional Final – with a “Neon Night/Alumni night” theme. Additional home promotions include “Be the Change Carnival/Bama Salute” against Kentucky on March 6 and “Senior Night/Capes and Crowns” against Georgia on March 13,which will serve as the regular-season finale.
The Southeastern Conference Championships are scheduled for March 21. NCAA Regional competition will take place April 2-4 at one of four locations: Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Corvallis, Oregon; Lexington, Kentucky; or Tempe, Arizona. The NCAA Championships will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, with semifinals on April 16 and the final on April 18.
prior to the regular season, Alabama will hold its annual Ghosts and Goblins intrasquad meet on October 24 at the Frances smith Practice Facility, followed by a Crimson and White preview meet in December within Coleman Coliseum.
