Google has unexpectedly released a second October update for itS Pixel phones, impacting the Pixel 7 series, the newly released Pixel 10 series, and all models in between. This marks the second update this month for many Pixel devices, following a previous release that addressed screen flickering on the Pixel 7 and display issues on the Pixel 10.
While Google hasn’t detailed the specific changes included in this new build, the rapid rollout suggests the company identified and is addressing a critical issue requiring immediate attention. The update is rolling out to a broad range of Pixel devices, though once again, the Pixel 6 is not included.
Pixel owners don’t need to wait for the over-the-air (OTA) update to arrive; thay can manually install the new version by flashing the factory image or using the OTA files available thru Google’s developer resources.
