GNU Press Shop reopens for Winter Fundraising Drive
BOSTON, MA – November 3, 2025 – The free Software Foundation (FSF) today announced the reopening of the GNU Press shop, offering free software merchandise now through January 1, 2026. The shop’s opening coincides with a winter fundraising goal of USD $400,000 to support the FSF’s mission of protecting software freedom – the freedom to run, copy, modify, and share software.
The GNU Press Shop provides a range of items for free software enthusiasts. Purchases directly fund the FSF’s work. Customers can also support the foundation by becoming an FSF associate member, which includes a 20% discount at the shop.
To ensure delivery before the winter holidays, orders with US mailing addresses should be placed before December 9, and international orders before December 2. The shop operates periodically, collecting orders for shipment on scheduled dates with volunteer assistance, so a delay between ordering and receiving items is expected. Questions regarding shipping, merchandise, or orders can be directed to sales@fsf.org.
The FSF is also seeking volunteers in the Boston area to help pack and ship orders on November 19, 2025, December 3, 2025, and January 7, 2026, or other dates as availability allows. Interested individuals should contact sales@fsf.org.Suggestions for future merchandise are welcome and can be submitted via the LibrePlanet wiki.
