Ghost of Yōtei’s New Game Plus Launches November 24, Adding New Challenges and Rewards
Ezo, November 19 – Players will soon be able to revisit the world of Ghost of Yōtei with all their accumulated progress, as developer Sucker Punch Productions announced today that New Game Plus will arrive on November 24. The update allows players to begin a new playthrough retaining all weapons, armor, upgrades, and abilities earned during their initial completion of the game’s main story.
New Game Plus isn’t simply a repeat experience. It introduces harder difficulty levels for seasoned players, alongside two new Trophies to pursue. A new currency,Ghost Flowers,will be available to earn and trade with a new vendor for over 30 cosmetic items – including new armor sets and weapon colors – and 10 new amulets. Players can also further enhance their gear, earning an additional level of upgrades for existing armor sets and weapons.
beyond the core New Game Plus features, the update includes a new stats display summarizing player performance throughout the main story, expanded accessibility features, and new tools for the Photo Mode. Sucker Punch confirmed this will be the final major update for Ghost of Yōtei in 2025, with plans to introduce Ghost of Yōtei Legends in 2026.
