Two New Titles Arrive on Game Pass: Dinosaur Action and a 13-Year Horror wait
Players can now explore a prehistoric world teeming with dinosaurs in Ferocious and confront chilling sci-fi horror in Routine, the latter arriving after a development period spanning over a decade.
Yesterday saw the release of two distinct games appealing to fans of action, dinosaurs, and horror. Ferocious, a single-player first-person action game from Omyog studio and tinyBuild, plunges players into a mysterious prehistoric world filled with aggressive dinosaurs. Developers emphasize tense action, gunfights, and exploration, citing inspiration from titles like Dino Crisis, turok, and the original Far Cry. Ferocious is currently available on PC via Steam for €25.
Alongside it comes Routine, a sci-fi horror game from lunar Software. The game’s launch marks the culmination of a remarkably lengthy development cycle, initially announced in 2012 and first gameplay shown in 2013, but facing a complete suspension for several years. Routine places players on an abandoned moon base during an alternate 1980s, offering what developers describe as “honest sci-fi horror.” Routine is available on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X/S, and via Xbox/PC Game Pass. Early user reviews on Steam currently sit at 91% positive.
