DUSU Elections 2025: Voting Underway, Results Expected September 19
Voting commenced this morning for the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections amid heightened security measures, with over 600 police personnel deployed across campuses. Approximately 2.8 lakh students are eligible to participate in the polls, which are being held in two shifts – 8:30 am to 1:00 pm for day students and 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm for evening students. The results are slated to be announced on September 19.

Key candidates vying for positions include Aryan Maan from the ABVP, representing the Department of Library Science; Joslyn Nandita choudhary of NSUI, a postgraduate student of Buddhist Studies; and Anjali from Indraprastha College for women, nominated by the SFI-AISA alliance.
The election process is proceeding smoothly, according to initial reports, with students actively exercising their franchise. The focus now shifts to the counting of votes on September 19, which will determine the new leadership of the DUSU.
