Players assume the role of a protagonist tasked with locating ten “real” political promises hidden within the offices of Czech deputies. However, they must evade caricatures of prominent politicians who patrol the halls, attempting to overwhelm players with unfulfilled pledges. According to Haraším, the game’s environments are based on the actual layout of the parliamentary building, with randomized object and enemy placement ensuring a unique experience with each playthrough.
Parliament blends the visual style of classic horror with satirical elements specific to the Czech Republic, including references to cultural touchstones like bread with steak, socks with sandals, beloved beer, and lost bitcoins.
