CSU Basketball Prepares for Matchup Against Lindenwood in Huntsville
HUNTSVILLE,Ala. – Charleston Southern University men’s basketball will face Lindenwood University this week in Huntsville, Alabama, marking the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The contest, part of the Bulldog Bash, presents an early-season test for CSU as they navigate a challenging non-conference schedule.
Lindenwood enters the matchup with a 1-2 record, having secured a win against an NAIA opponent on November 6th, but falling to #10 Texas Tech on November 4th and Saint Louis on November 10th.Despite the early losses, the Lions boast a balanced offensive attack with six players averaging double-digit scoring, including guards Jadis Jones (16.0 ppg), Anias Futrell (13.0 ppg), dontrez Williams (13.0 ppg), and Clayton Jackson (10.7 ppg).Jones is currently shooting an notable 93% from the field, going 13-14 overall and 8-9 against Saint Louis.

The Lions are coached by Kyle Gerdeman, who is in his seventh year leading the program and achieved his best record to date last season with a 10-10 OVC finish.
