CSU Basketball Prepares for Matchup ‌Against Lindenwood in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE,Ala. – Charleston Southern University men’s basketball will​ face Lindenwood University ​this week in Huntsville, Alabama,​ marking the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The contest, part of the Bulldog Bash, presents an early-season test for CSU as they navigate​ a challenging non-conference schedule.

Lindenwood enters the matchup with a 1-2 record,⁤ having secured a win ⁣against an NAIA‌ opponent on November⁤ 6th, but ‍falling to #10 Texas Tech on November ‌4th and ‍Saint Louis on November 10th.Despite the early losses, the Lions boast a​ balanced​ offensive attack with six players averaging‍ double-digit scoring,⁣ including‍ guards Jadis⁢ Jones⁢ (16.0⁢ ppg), Anias‍ Futrell (13.0 ppg), dontrez Williams (13.0⁢ ppg), and⁢ Clayton Jackson (10.7 ppg).Jones is currently shooting ⁤an notable 93% from the field, going 13-14 overall and 8-9 against Saint Louis.
