Berlin Park Attack Leaves Three Children Injured, One Abducted
berlin, Germany – A violent assault in Berlin’s Pankow district left three boys injured Saturday evening, with one briefly abducted by a group of youths. Police are investigating teh incident, which occurred at the Paule-Park playground shortly after 8:00 PM.
The attack underscores growing concerns about youth violence in the city. The incident impacts the affected families and raises questions about safety in public spaces. Authorities are actively searching for the perpetrators and investigating the motives behind the brutal attack.
According to authorities, five adolescents confronted the three boys – aged eleven, thirteen, and thirteen – while they were playing at the park. The group immediately began physically assaulting the children.The eleven-year-old managed to escape and sought help from adults.
As two adults attempted to intervene, the assailants fled, forcibly taking one of the thirteen-year-old boys with them. Police believe the youth was coerced into accompanying the group. A search commenced involving police and the parents of the missing child.
The abducted teenager was later located at the Schönholz S-Bahn station, suffering from serious injuries. He sustained multiple facial fractures and a broken hand, requiring immediate hospitalization. The two other boys were transported to a hospital by ambulance; one with a fractured nose.
The attackers stole a mobile phone and a bank card from the children. the identities of the perpetrators remain unknown as of Sunday morning, and a full investigation is underway.
