In June 2025, Jiřina Bohdalová underwent a planned heart valve operation at Na Homolce Hospital, led by Professor Petr Neužil. The necessity for the procedure arose from a failing left heart chamber, leading to a gradual decline in her health.

Doctors used a minimally invasive catheterization technique during the 90-minute operation. While the procedure was technically challenging due to Bohdalová’s age, it was ultimately successful and free of complications.
