Two investors have bought the legendary The Plaza Hotel in New York. That reports the New York Times citing a senior executive of the Indian Sahara corporation who owns the hotel. The buyers are said to be New York investor Shahal Khan and Iranian Kamran Hakim. The rumored purchase price is $ 600 million. The deal is expected to close by June 25th.
The hotel, which is one of the landmarks of the US metropolis, was owned by the current US President Donald Trump for a while. Trump bought the building in 1988, but lost it again four years later in bankruptcy proceedings. (as)
