Berneron Unveils First Annual calendar, Priced to Rise
Berneron has released its highly anticipated Quantième Annuel, the brand’s first annual calendar complication, housed in a hunter caseback and powered by a new proprietary hand-wound movement. The watch, crafted with a solid gold movement and featuring instantaneous jumping apertures, swiping hands, and a retrograde date, requires only one correction per year on February 28th.
This launch marks a significant step for the autonomous watchmaker, demonstrating its growing technical capabilities and commitment to complex horology. Limited to 24 pieces per color annually for a 10-year production run (Series A), the Quantième Annuel targets serious collectors with a unique pricing structure that rewards early adopters. The watch’s debut signals a potential shift in Berneron’s market positioning, moving further into the realm of high-complication, investment-grade timepieces.
Under the caseback, the new movement addresses the energy demands of its four instantaneous jumping apertures, two swiping hands, and one retrograde date. Featuring two barrels, the movement exhibits a symmetrical design.
The Berneron Quantième Annuel will begin deliveries in October 2026, with an initial price of CHF 120,000. The price will incrementally increase to CHF 130,000 in 2027 and CHF 140,000 in 2028. Further details are available at www.berneron.ch.
