Two Teenagers Killed in Shooting at Chula Vista Halloween Party
Chula Vista, CA – A Halloween party in Chula Vista turned tragic late Friday night, resulting in the deaths of two teenagers. Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 00 block of East Prospect Street at approximately 11:17 p.m., according to the Chula Vista Police Department (CVPD).
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old both suffering from gunshot wounds. first responders immediately administered life-saving measures before transporting the victims to UC San Diego Medical center. Despite aggressive resuscitation efforts, both teenagers were pronounced dead at the hospital.
Authorities are withholding the names of the deceased pending notification of their families.
