Saint-Cloud, France – The 63rd editionโฃ of the Cross du Figaro concluded today in Parc Saint-Cloud with a record-breaking number of participants, totaling โover โฃ8,500 runners across five races. This marks a important increase from last โฃyear’s โฃ7,000 and a ample jump of 4,500 from the 2023 event.
The annual race, founded in 1961 by Le Figaro, which will celebrate its bicentennial in 2026, sawโค nearly 2,000 runners kick off the weekend with the BYD Night Run onโ Friday, completing either a โ5km or 10km course illuminated byโค headlamps. Beyond the athletic achievement, the event serves as the official launch of the Tรฉlรฉthon week, now โin its 39th year, and raises crucial โขfunds for research into rare genetic diseases.
This year’s Crossโค duโ Figaro featured customary distances of 5km, 10km, 15km, and 20km, winding through the scenic pathways of the Hauts-de-Seine park. Proceeds from registrations and t-shirt sales โwill be donated to the AFM Tรฉlรฉthon association, supporting efforts to combat conditions previously considered incurable.
Runners can find complete results and โtheir โindividual finishing times published in Le Figaro (รle-de-France โฃedition)โ on Tuesday,โข December 2. The event’s success was made possibleโฃ through โขsponsorships from brands including Terraillon, Liebig, Mir, daisuki, Haribo, Segafredo, and Lutecia, alongside institutional supportโฃ from the Hauts-de-Seine department, the city of Saint-Cloud, and Grate Place to Work.
