The adaptation, directed by Emerald Fennell, promises a bold and provocative take on the classic novel. The trailer, released this week, showcases a visually arresting and intensely charged atmosphere, underscored by a snippet of new music from XCX. This marks a significant venture for the artist, who is simultaneously expanding her acting career with roles in Overcompensating, Eruption, and 100 Nights of Hero.
Robbie and Elordi reunite after their collaboration on Saltburn, with Fennell also serving as writer and producer. The cast also includes Hong Chau as Nelly Dean, Alison Oliver as isabella Linton, and Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton.
