The management of the Plovdiv library “Ivan Vazov” wants to drive the cat Gogo to the street, so as not to alienate readers who do not like cats. The 5-year-old cat has a house in one of the rooms for free access. There are many adoring readers who bring him food every day and enjoy his presence among the bookshelves.

His story is gathering an unprecedented wave of empathy. More than 8,000 admirers of Gogo have so far signed a petition demanding that he remain in the Plovdiv library building.

The library staff also made him a special wooden house outside with a feeder. The pet can go for a walk whenever it wants.

Gogo appeared in the city library on St. George’s Day 10 months ago, and since then he has been the mascot of the librarians, who take loving care of him. The kitten is extremely calm, loving and sociable.

For the first months, Gogo lived in the hall for free access of readers illegally. “Jatatsi librarians” provided him with protection secretly from the director of the library. However, now the secret has come out and he is adamant that Gogo should leave the building so as not to spread infections and scare away readers who don’t like cats, bTV reported.

MEPs Iskra Mihailova and Ilhan Kyuchuk are already vice-presidents of the DPS. A total of 7 deputies will have co-chairmen Delyan Peevski and Jevdet Chakarov, the Central Council of the party decided today. The choice of which ones they made the two leaders and the honorary leader Ahmed Dogan.

Seven MPs will sit in the Central Committee: Ramadan Atalai, Hamid Hamid, Valentin Tonchev, Alizan Yahova, Sevim Ali, Mario Rangelov and Tsvetan Enchev, as well as two more representatives of the youth: the son of the former minister Nihat Kabil – Taner (he was temporary for 3 months leader of the MDPS), and Levent Memish – until recently deputy head.

Among the new members are the mayor of Belica Radoslav Revanski, the secretary of the CEC Sevinc Solakova and the former social minister Hasan Ademov.

However, other prominent figures of the party are parting with their seats – Emel Etem, who is among the founders of DPS, two former and one current deputy head of the parliament – Nijar Jafer, Yunal Lutfi and Filiz Huysmenova. This ends the series of internal elections in the party, which ensured a change from the local structures to the national leadership.

An invitation to PP-DB to start negotiations for a government to replace Nikolay Denkov’s cabinet was sent by GERB.

The negotiations will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Boyko Borisov’s party said. They will be led by the GERB negotiating team – the prime minister nominee Maria Gabriel, Denitsa Sacheva, Raya Nazaryan and Temenuzhka Petkova.

The talks will be on the draft agreement on joint management proposed by Boyko Borisov and on the mechanism for making decisions and making appointments in the regulators.

GERB postpone the start of the talks by a day, because on Friday Maria Gabriel will meet with the current ministers to evaluate their work. Then there is a meeting with Nikolay Denkov to discuss the results.

If he wasn’t a gentleman, he could have scheduled us for consultations tomorrow.” Thus, the leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov, burst out at the PP-DB from the European People’s Party congress in Bucharest.

Enraged that the resignation of the “Denkov” cabinet was voted in his absence and that of the deputy prime minister and future prime minister Maria Gabriel, Borisov actually developed the hypothesis described by “24 Chasa” a day earlier – that their partners are provoking a faster drive of the procedure by the President. Denkov came, resigned and left with the cabinet so that they would not participate in the debates,” said Borisov. “This is how you defend a government, this is how you respond to criticism. Why were they in a hurry to do it, why this arrogant attitude,” he asked. And he was categorical that this is how they provoke elections and Gabriel should have been in the plenary hall.
