KISS Guitarist ace Frehley dies Aged 74 Following โข’Ongoing Medicalโ Issues’
ace Frehley,theโ iconic lead guitarist for the rock โband KISS,has died at the age of 74. News of hisโ passing follows the cancellation of his โ2025 tour dates due to ongoing medical issues,and reports ofโ a recent fall and subsequent hospitalization.
Frehley, known to fans as “Space Ace” or “Spaceman,” was a key architect of KISS’s signature sound and stage presence. He joined the band in 1973,โฃ contributing to their โbreakthrough success with โคalbums like Destroyer and Alive! and hits including Rock and Roll All Nite and I Wasโ made for Lovin’ You. Known โfor theirโ black and โคwhite makeup,โ elaborate costumes, and big hair, โKISS captivated audiences with their glamโ style.Frehley originally left KISS in 1982, laterโฃ rejoining for a reunion tour in 1996โ and remaining with the band until 2002.
During his time away from KISS, Frehley formed his own band, frehley’s Comet,โ and pursued a solo career. Last month, he cancelled a concert after a fall in his studio, which led to a hospital visit. A โคSeptember 26thโ Instagramโ post stated, “He is fine, but โฃagainst his wishes, hisโ doctor insists that he refrain from travel at this time.” sources later told TMZ that Frehley โsuffered a brain bleed โin the fall,and โคhad been on a ventilator “for some time” with no advancement in his condition.
