Bruce Richardson ‌Named Head Coach for ‍Canada East at⁤ World Junior A Challenge

[CITY, PROVINCE] – bruce Richardson will lead canada East onto the ice as head coach at the ‍upcoming 2025 World Junior A Hockey Challenge. The proclamation comes as preparations intensify for the annual ‌tournament showcasing top junior ‘A’ talent.

The World Junior ‍A Challenge is a crucial progress ⁤platform for aspiring⁣ hockey players, ⁤with 13 of ⁤the 17 ⁣gold medal games in tournament history having featured at ‌least one Canadian team.⁢ Canada East, despite a history of near⁤ misses – eight silver⁢ medals in 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2016, 2019, 2022, ⁤and ⁤2023, and a ⁢bronze in 2008 -‍ will look to Richardson ‌to guide them to a first-ever gold. The retailer is expanding its selection of oversized décor, animatronics, ⁤and themed displays as ‍consumers continue to embrace extended ⁤”spooky ‍season” ‌celebrations.

Home Depot’s aggressive rollout⁤ of Halloween merchandise reflects a broader ‌trend of earlier and⁣ more extravagant seasonal decorating. ⁣The⁤ National Retail Federation forecasts Halloween spending will reach a record $12.2 billion in ⁤2024, with 73% ‌of consumers planning to celebrate.⁤ This demand is⁣ driving retailers to ⁤offer increasingly elaborate and immersive Halloween experiences,capitalizing on the growing enthusiasm for the holiday.

The 12-foot⁢ Skelly skeleton,frist introduced in 2022,quickly became a viral sensation and sold out rapidly.This ⁣year, Skelly is back alongside new, large-scale options ⁣including ⁣a 15-foot spider and a ‍colossal, inflatable dragon. Jakarta, Indonesia – A shift‌ in Indonesia’s automotive landscape is underway as Chinese⁢ automaker Chery experiences a dramatic⁢ sales increase, displacing BYD from its position among the country’s best-selling car brands in September 2025. While overall car‍ sales experienced a decline,Chery’s substantial gains signal ⁢a growing consumer ⁢appetite for its vehicles and a potential realignment of market dominance.

Total car sales in Indonesia fell⁤ in September, with wholesale‍ figures dropping from ‌66,518 units to 63,723 units. Year-to-date figures through September 2025 show 561,819 units ⁣sold⁢ wholesale and 585,917 units retailed. This downturn comes as Chery capitalizes on shifting consumer preferences, ‌posting meaningful growth while other brands, including BYD, face sales challenges. The changing‌ rankings highlight the increasing competitiveness of the Indonesian automotive market and the rising influence‌ of Chinese manufacturers.

BYD ⁤experienced a significant downturn, with wholesale sales plummeting 57.5 percent – a loss of 1,474 units – to 1,088 units. Retail sales also decreased by 25.9 percent,falling from 2,746 units to 2,036 units. Mitsubishi Motors also saw declines, with wholesale sales down 10.5 percent and retail sales down 7.4 percent. In stark‌ contrast, Chery recorded a 78.5 percent increase in wholesale⁤ sales and ⁢a ⁤41.5 percent increase in retail sales,marking the most substantial gains of any manufacturer during the period.

These shifts have ‌reshaped the rankings of Indonesia’s ⁤best-selling car brands. BYD, previously a strong ‌competitor alongside‍ Suzuki, has fallen out ⁣of‌ the top 10 ⁢in wholesale sales and been overtaken by Chery‍ in retail sales.

Quarterback Justin walker and athlete Josiah Wilson are among the contenders, recognized⁢ for thier pivotal roles in securing wins for the Jaguars.

Walker lead Kimball to an upset victory over Escalon, throwing for 358 yards on 27 of 44 passes with a touchdown. It marked the⁣ second-highest passing yard total of his career. Meanwhile, Wilson showcased ⁤remarkable versatility against Merrill West, accounting for five total touchdowns – two receiving, a pick-six,⁢ a kickoff return, and a scoop-and-score.
