Books – Hassan Morsi:
Counselor Muhammad Al-Homsani, spokesman for the Council of Ministers, revealed the developments of the plan to reduce electrical loads, noting that there are still some factors that represent pressure on the electricity network, and there are large consumption rates and an increase in costs as a result of the high exchange rate of the dollar.

Al-Homsani pointed out, during a phone call to the “Hazrat Al-Muwatin” program, on “Al-Hadath Al-Youm” satellite channel, on Sunday evening, that there is a need to rationalize spending in the current period, which leads to continuing to reduce loads, but the state is making every effort to address the reduction of loads.

He pointed out that it was decided to make the load-reduction times during the day in response to the requests of representatives and citizens, as they seek to reduce the impact of load-reduction on citizens, hoping that the reasons calling for load-reduction will end.

Written by Rahma Ramadan Wednesday, January 3, 2024 10:29 AM Start The Ministry of Electricity Renewable energy is represented by the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company and its subsidiaries nationwide in implementing the Council of Ministers’ decision to reduce loads for two hours a day, starting from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., during the mid-year exam period in response to the requests of representatives and citizens.

The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, headed by Engineer Gaber Desouki, prepared a plan to implement the decision not to reduce loads by cutting off the power supply after 5 p.m., distribute the reduction schedules to the 9 electricity distribution companies nationwide, and stress the necessity of adhering to the disconnection period not exceeding two hours.

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers stated that the government had responded to many requests submitted by parliamentarians and citizens regarding changing the dates for reducing electricity loads during the current period, and not cutting off electricity at night, in view of the start of the mid-year exams, indicating that it is a response. From the government to these demands, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly had previously directed that we work quickly to achieve these demands, by implementing a plan to reduce loads during daylight hours only.

The Cabinet Media Center revealed that, in light of the news that was circulating about monitoring cases of infection with new strains of swine flu inside Egypt, the center contacted the Ministry of Health and Population, which denied those reports, stressing that there is no truth to monitoring any infections with new strains of swine flu. It immediately reported any unusual activity, noting that this system did not detect any mutations or new strains of the swine flu virus, calling on all citizens not to be led by these lies that aim to create panic among them, while obtaining information from its official sources.

In a related context, H1N1 influenza was discovered for the first time in the world in Mexico in April 2009, and it was incorrectly known as swine flu due to the similarity of many of the virus’s genes to the genes of influenza viruses that infect pigs in North America, and due to its spread in most parts of the world, the World Health Organization announced H1N1 was a global pandemic on June 11, 2009. The World Health Organization declared the end of the pandemic on August 10, 2010. Since that date, the H1N1 virus has become one of the endemic viruses in the world and has not resulted in any subsequent pandemics. It has been included in seasonal influenza vaccination, and Egypt was among the Countries are the first to introduce vaccination against seasonal influenza (including H1N1).
