Le Seraphim Tops K-Pop Radar’s Weekly Fandom Chart Following ‘SPAGHETTI’ Comeback
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – November 1, 2023 – K-pop group Le seraphim has surged to the top of the K-pop Radar Weekly fandom Chart, propelled by the success of thier recent comeback with the single “SPAGHETTI” featuring BTS’ J-Hope. The group unseated previous chart-topper Cortis, who held the number one position for eight consecutive weeks.
The K-Pop Radar Weekly Fandom Chart, produced by music startup Space Oddity, tracks artists experiencing the most significant growth in fandom indicators.Le Seraphim’s rapid ascent demonstrates the impact of overseas consumption – which accounts for over 90% of the K-pop market – and highlights the group’s growing global reach. This ranking is especially significant as it’s based on data from major platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Twitter, and Instagram, offering a transparent view of fandom trends.
According to data released October 31st, Le Seraphim’s “SPAGHETTI” music video garnered 23.38 million views during the week of October 23-29, 2023. Spotify follower growth reached 47,000, a substantial increase compared to the K-pop artist average of 1,400. Instagram followers increased by 48,000, while Twitter saw a rise of 1,900 followers during the same period.
“Le Seraphim recorded evenly high numbers in all indicators and rose to first place upon their comeback,” stated K-Pop Radar.
The remainder of the top ten included Hearts to Hearts’ ”FOCUS” at number two, Cortis’ “FaSHioN” at number three, Team Ann’s “Back to Life” (4th), NexG’s “Beat-Boxer” (6th), and Exdinary Heroes’ ”ICU” (8th).
