Houston – A shooting spree across Sugar Land adn Houston on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, left four people dead, including the gunman, and prompted investigations at multiple locations. The incidents began with a shooting at a mechanic business in the 13000 block of Fondren road at approximately 1:45 p.m.
The violence escalated with a second shooting reported at 2 p.m. in the 8000 block of Creekbend Drive, roughly 2.9 miles from the first scene. Authorities are investigating whether the two shootings are connected. At the Creekbend Drive location, the gunman died by suicide, according to the Houston Police Department. The identities of all four individuals involved have not yet been released.
Roadways near both shooting locations were temporarily closed as investigators processed the scenes. Police are currently working to determine the circumstances that led to the shootings.
