Adana, Turkey – A 54-year-old woman, Neriman Onur, was fatally shot in the head by her 58-year-old ex-husband, mehmet Ali Nayki, at a metro underpass in the Seyhan district. The incident occurred in the Yeşilyurt neighborhood, leaving the community in shock. Police apprehended the suspect, Nayki, as he attempted to flee the scene.
The Incident Unfolds
The tragic event unfolded as Ms. Onur was walking towards the stairs of the metro underpass. Upon noticing her ex-husband, Mehmet Ali Nayki, approaching with a pistol, she reportedly screamed for help and attempted to escape. Investigation and Forensic Examination
Police and prosecutors conducted an on-site investigation. After the investigation of the police and prosecutor at the scene of the former wife of the victim neriman Onur’un lifeless body, Adana Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy was removed to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine institute.
Ms. Onur’s body was transported to the Adana Forensic Medicine institute for an autopsy. Mehmet Ali Nayki is currently being interrogated by the police as the investigation continues.
